What we collect
Code you paste. When you use the generator, the Python code you paste is sent to our backend so it can be analyzed and turned into an IAM policy. Your code is never executed. The request (your pasted code) and the resulting policy may be briefly recorded in server logs for debugging and reliability purposes, and are not used for any other purpose.
Email address. If you sign up via the "Stay in the loop" form, we store the email address and the IP address the request came from, solely to notify you about new features and languages. We do not sell or share this list with third parties.
Cookies
We only set non-essential cookies after you accept the cookie banner shown on this site. If accepted, we may use:
- Google Analytics — to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type). See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google AdSense — to serve ads, where enabled. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings.
If you reject the cookie banner, none of the above are loaded. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.
Data retention
Server logs containing request data are retained only as long as needed for debugging and abuse prevention, and are not used to build a profile of you. Subscriber emails are kept until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, or to delete your subscriber email, at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
